The Camping and Caravanning Club signs deal with Wicoms to bring WiFi to the complete portfolio

Wicoms and The Camping and Caravanning Club have entered into a 10 year deal to bring WiFi and the digitial entertainment service to its portfolio.

The service, called Site WiFi is now available for the 2009 season with the completion of Phase One of the project. Most of the sites now have WiFi hotspots at the very least. Phase Two will comprise of infilling the gaps to increase the experience for its visitors.

The Club have embrased the proposition and have extensively marketed the service to its members. Take up is steadily increasing and everyone is excited about the potential the network can bring to add even more value to an already great holiday!

And although there have been some interesting challenges to bring the service to some of the more remote parts of the country, it is very much alive and active on the Isle of Skye. Take a trip, its worth it...even if you don't take your laptop!
